We're here for the community

During times of such uncertainty, we’re doing what we can to help.

We’ve adapted our shop opening hours, and we’ve extended our range of local fruit, vegetables and milk.

We’re also continuing to deliver throughout Inverness – and throughout the Highlands.

Serving the best of the Highlands

Our shelves stocked with some of the best quality (and tastiest) produce from across the Highlands. In addition to our award winning butcher’s produce, we also stock a wide range of freshly grown fruit and vegetables, local honey and free range eggs.

We know our suppliers
It’s what makes the difference

We are a traditional butcher and one of the few in Scotland that buy in whole carcasses and butcher in house. The majority of our beef, lamb and pork are locally sourced to the highest standard so that only the best is sold in our shop. In an age of convenience and stack them high and sell them cheap, we remain committed to knowing where our produce comes from, and selecting only the best. That doesn’t make us as expensive as you might think though – we’re often cheaper than the supermarkets!

We’re delivering throughout Inverness and across the Highlands

We deliver throughout Inverness free of charge and also have delivery runs to many parts of the Highlands on a weekly or bi weekly basis.

This includes the Black Isle, Tomatin, Dingwall, Ullapool, Alness, Aultbea, Gairloch, Dornie, Lochcarron, Ardersier, Muir of Ord, and Beauly. Please enquire for more up to date information.

To place an order we’d need a note of what you’d like, along with your address and contact phone number. We’ll give you a call to collect payment after delivery.

You can also find out some information on how we’re adapting to reduce social distancing in the faq’s below.

Some questions you may have

What is the best way for me to place an order?

You can place an order by phoning the shop on 01463 798303, or by e-mailing us on sales@aiqualitybutchers.com

Using the email option will help to reduce the demand on the phoneline and make this more available for those who don’t have email access.

What we need to place an order

We require a list of what you’d like to order along with your name, address and phone number. Our accounts team will be in touch to arrange payment once an order has been delivered.

What measures are being taken in store to adhere to the updated Government guidelines.

We’re currently asking that only two customers come into the shop at any given time to ensure a safe distance is kept for the safety of both customers and staff.

Orders can also be placed online or over the phone for free local delivery. Delivery is also available to other locations throughout the Highlands.

Is there a limit on what I can order?

At the moment we aren’t asking customers to make any specific limitations on their orders  – only that you order what you may need for yourself and allow us to ensure that everybody has an equal opportunity to be supplied.

Do you offer ready meals?

We do, these are freshly prepared in Culloden – and are suitable for reheating or freezing at home.

What are your opening hours?

We’re currently operating slightly different opening times in store, with the shop open from 10am to 4pm on Tuesday to Friday and 9am -1pm on Saturday.
Orders can be placed via sales@aiqualitybutchers.com and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
We’re always closed on a Sunday, as we’re particularly committed to giving our team some time off at the weekend, especially during these busy times. We’re also temporarily closed on a Monday to allow opportunity to restock the shop.
