Our team at A&I have been led by Ali Paul, our master butcher, since 1997.  Ali has over 40 years’ experience in the traditional butchering trade and ensures our staff are trained to the highest standard.

The A&I shop in Culloden, Inverness, has been managed by Karen Bissell since she joined us in 2003.  Karen leads the team in providing excellent customer service to our customers in store and over the phone.

A&I have always been an advocate of continuing the traditional butchering craft and are supportive of apprenticeships to enable young people to learn these valuable skills.  One of our original apprenticeships, Mark Sloggie, is now our chief manufacturer and has been with us for over 12 years since he left school. Mark is in charge of making our award-winning hand-linked sausages, burgers and puddings, and is now responsible for training his own apprentices.

We also have a team responsible for creating our prize-winning pies, ready meals and famous coleslaw behind the scenes; as well as our delivery van drivers who are kept busy taking A&I products around the country.

If you are passionate about the craft of butchering and are interested in finding out more about joining our team, please get in touch with us at info@aiqualitybutchers.com.
